Canela serves quality Portuguese coffee and a selection of fresh juices. The wine list contains a selection of quality Portuguese wines and caipirinhas and traditional beer from Portugal and Brazil.
- Portuguese Wines
- The wines from Portugal are diverse and fascinating, ranging from lively, spritzy Vinho Verde, to rich sumptuous reds. With a number of indigenous grape varieties to choose from, wine making know how and suitable terroirs, Portugal is a producer of great quality wines. At Canela we reflect this diversity in our wine list, with Wines from the North to the South of the country.
- Caipirinha in its classic version is probably Brazil’s national cocktail. It’s made of cachaça (sugarcane alcohol), sugar and lime. We offer two other tasty variations, one with mixed berries, the other with passion fruit.
- Portuguese Coffee
- Coffee is served strong in Canela. In Portugal the strength of the coffee is much stronger than in other countries. The Portuguese are coffee aficionados and most people start their daily routine with an espresso on their way to work. The coffee grains come mainly from Angola and Brazil. At Canela the coffee is freshly ground during the day and is served with a cinnamon stick.
